Privacy Policy
Last updated: January 2026
This policy explains how Fortune Bit Solutions Sdn. Bhd. (201801038348 (1300379-U)) ("Fortune Bit", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects personal data when you visit the eSigner website or use the eSigner service.
1. Who is responsible for your data
- For our website, accounts and billing, Fortune Bit decides how your personal data is used and is responsible for it.
- For documents and signer details that a customer uploads, the customer decides how that data is used. We process it on the customer's behalf and only on their instructions. If you were asked to sign a document, please contact the sender about how they use your data.
2. What we collect

| Support | Messages and attachments you send us | To answer your request |
| Website | Pages visited, browser type, approximate location | To keep the site working and understand how it is used |
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use document contents for advertising.
3. How we use it
- To provide, secure and improve eSigner.
- To send service emails, such as signing requests, reminders, completion notices and security alerts.
- To answer support and sales enquiries.
- To bill paid plans and meet tax, accounting and legal duties.
- To send product news, only if you agree. You can opt out at any time through the link in each email.
4. Who we share it with
We share personal data only as needed to run the service:
- Service providers who host our servers and website, deliver our website form messages, send our emails and process payments, under contracts that require them to protect the data.
- Other people on a document, such as the sender and fellow signers, who can see names, signatures and the audit trail of that document.
- Authorities, when the law or a court order requires it.
- A buyer or successor, if Fortune Bit's business is sold or merged, under the same protections.
5. Where your data is stored
Your data is stored on cloud servers in the Asia-Pacific region. Where data is transferred outside Malaysia, we make sure it is protected to a standard comparable to the Personal Data Protection Act 2010. Corporate customers can choose a private cloud.
6. How long we keep it
- Account data: while your account is active, and for 90 days after it closes. We then delete it.
- Documents and audit trails: until the customer deletes them, or for 30 days after the account closes so the customer can download them. We then delete them. If you need signed documents for longer, download copies before closing your account.
- Backups: deleted data is removed from our backups within 30 days, as backups are replaced.
- Billing records: for 7 years, as Malaysian company and tax law requires.
- Demo requests: for 6 months if you do not become a customer.
7. How we protect it
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest and backed up regularly. Access is limited to staff who need it. Users can turn on two-factor authentication or passkeys, and every action on a document is recorded in an audit trail. If a breach affects your personal data, we will notify you and the Personal Data Protection Commissioner as the law requires.
8. Your rights
You can ask us to:
- give you access to your personal data;
- correct data that is wrong or out of date;
- give you a copy of your data in a usable format;
- stop using your data for direct marketing;
- withdraw consent, where we rely on it.
Email support@fortunebit.my with your request. We will reply within 21 days. We may ask you to confirm your identity first, and may charge a fee allowed by law for access requests. For documents uploaded by a customer, we will pass your request to that customer.
9. Cookies
The website uses only the cookies it needs to work. We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies or track you across other sites. You can block cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the site may then not work.
10. Children
eSigner is a business service and is not meant for anyone under 18.
11. Changes to this policy
We will post any changes on this page and update the date at the top. For significant changes, we will also email account holders.
